This is my most recent piece. I have a good friend in Iraq with the American Airforce. I thought I wouldn’t hear from him, that I feel alone, like I’d lost a friend – I worried he’d feel isolated and alone too. Turns out telecommunication is a little more awesome than I had first thought. I don’t feel alone – never alone.
